While out shopping for the perfect tree for her apartment she runs into the last person she ever expected to see. Justin Thomas made the biggest mistake of his life when he walked out on Rayne. He longs to explain why he did it but Rayne isn't sure she wants to hear it. Besides, someone else is showing an interest in her. Despite her best efforts, Justin still tugs at her heart. Can Justin convince Rayne to listen to the reason he left and that he still wants a future with her? Will Rayne be able to forgive him and accept him back or will her heart be drawn in a new direction?While looking for books I ran across this one and really liked the cover. It looked like a cute Christmas story and so I give it try. It was a very sweet story of love and second chances. The characters are likable folks and easy to get to know. I really like what Justin's uncle once told him, "Worrying about the past will keep you in bondage. And fretting about the future will stop the joy of living for today." Wise advice. Especially profound because Justin had a past. It was a good reminder that just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you don't have to deal with the consequences of past choices. But God can make beauty from the ashes. Isn't that great! One part I thoroughly enjoyed about the book was the ending! It was a lot of fun and very romantic! If you're looking for a quick, easy-to-read Christmas story then Christmas Rayne just might be in your forecast!

Christmas Rayne is a charming story about friendship, love, forgiveness and family. I found this to be a story without a lot of depth to the characters, but yet it was so enjoyable that I could not put it down. A great story to just relax and unwind with, not needing a lot of thought processes to keep the story straight in your mind.
Christmas is Rayne’s favorite time of year. Along with enjoying Christmas, she is also enjoying her friendship, and possible budding romance with Camden. He makes her smile. He makes her giggle. And what a charming gentleman he is. They seem to have all the makings for a wonderful romance.
But, what happens when the haunting past comes at her full force? Justin realizes he made the biggest mistake of his life three years ago when he walked out on her two weeks before their wedding. Now, can he bring himself to tell her why, in hopes that she will forgive him and allow him back into her life? Or, has another man already stolen the heart of the girl he is so desperate to regain?
Rayne has a decision to make. What insight will her visiting parents offer her in hopes of seeing their daughter move past the hurt she has experienced and into the life of her dreams?

My birthday is Christmas Day....I really enjoyed this book and will be giving this to my mom, who needs Jesus...please pray for her....
I loved the way Joi shared the truths of forgiveness and how it affects all those around us and even ourselves. Loved this book was small and not over-written!
I highly recommend this book to anyone over 12 yrs. of age and up!

I would recommend this book to anyone. It would be a great book for all ages and even men will like it.
I enjoyed reading this book very much. It gave me hope for what my daughter Allison may find one day when she is waiting for someone to walk into her life. It also made me wish my mom was here to see this happen.
Very cute story. Very short but it was very satisfying!
Almost all of my preparation for Christmas is done, and I needed something to read to prepare my spirit for the celebration. This story of forgiveness and restoration of relationships reminded me of God's great Gift of His only Son, who came to reconcile us to Himself.
Good biblical themes of honest communication and forgiveness get lost in a morass of typos, wrong words (one example = should when shoulder was meant), awkward syntax and poor use of tense. Strongly suggest a professional proofreader/editor for this and subsequent books.
